Some scratch work I did for Element Data around branding font and color. This was a jumpstart exercise to get folks thinking about the new direction.
MOTOR is the sister label to Debacle Records. A collective of dance focused artists from around the Pacific northwest and beyond. Unlike Debacle Records, MOTOR has a tightly controlled visual aesthetic that evolves over time as the season change. Our branding is a combination of a Logo and five brand colors in a specific sequence.
The first 5 releases from MOTOR were an important set of records for us. We decided to highlight our brand colors and increase the collectability of the 12"s with some interlocking info stickers.
